From the first walkthrough to the final punch list, here’s what to expect when Black Label Building remodels your kitchen or bathroom.
From Vision to Reality
Every project is a little different, but this is the path most of our kitchen and bathroom remodels follow.
Discovery
We start by getting to know you: your goals, your style, and how you live in your home. It begins with a free in-home visit to see the space and talk through your ideas.
We’ll take measurements, look at what’s working and what isn’t, and ask how you actually use the room day to day. If you have photos you’ve saved, a rough budget or a timeline in mind, this is the time to share them. And if your project isn’t a good fit for us, we’ll tell you that up front.
Design
We turn your ideas into a detailed plan, with thoughtful layouts, materials, and finishes, and a clear price before anything is ordered or torn out.
Once you’re on the schedule, we sit down with you in person to go through cabinet, countertop and tile samples and narrow things down to a few options that fit your style and budget. From there, we put together a floor plan and renderings so you can see how the room comes together before you commit.
Materials are ordered once the plan is final, and we don’t start demolition until everything is here or has a confirmed delivery date. That way your kitchen or bathroom is only torn up while work is actually happening.
Build
Our experienced team brings the plan to life with precision, respect for your home, and clear communication. If something comes up, you hear about it from us right away.
Our own crew handles the carpentry, tile, flooring and finish work, and we bring in licensed partners for plumbing, electrical, HVAC and drywall. The people who start your project are the same people who finish it.
We keep the work contained to the room we’re remodeling as much as we can, so most homeowners stay in their home the whole time. Older homes can hide surprises behind the walls and under the floors, and when we find one, we’ll show you what we found and walk you through your options before we move forward.
Final Walkthrough
We review every detail together to make sure the finished space is everything you envisioned.
We walk the room with you, open the drawers, run the faucets and look closely at the finishes. Anything that needs a touch-up or an adjustment goes on a short punch list, and we take care of it before we call the project done.
